MIA of Kazakhstan: No special activities against Kyrgyzstanis held

«There are no special activities against Kyrgyzstanis,» the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan said, Tengrinews.kz agency reported.

Since October 4, the operative preventive measure «Illegal-2017» has been conducted on the territory of Kazakhstan, the director of the State Language and Information Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almas Sadubayev, said.

«As of October 11, 11,891 foreigners were brought to administrative responsibility for violation of the rules of stay in the country, including 727 citizens of foreign countries and 11,164 citizens of CIS countries. Out of them, 1,627 persons were expelled from the country. For violating the rules for attracting and using foreign labor, 420 Kazakhstanis were brought to administrative responsibility,» Almas Sadubayev said.

According to him, 120 facts of violation of migration legislation were registered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. There were detained 28 wanted criminal offenders, including 24 Kazakhstanis and four citizens of the CIS countries. 1,013 citizens of the CIS countries were placed in reception centers without documents proving their identity.

The internal affairs bodies don’t conduct any special measures against citizens of Kyrgyzstan.

Earlier, there were reports that officials of Kazakhstan speak about the reduction of the term of temporary registration for citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Supposedly, it was reduced from 90 to 10 days. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan hasn’t yet commented on this information.
