167 polling stations ready for elections in Naryn region

167 polling stations have been prepared and equipped, 180,100 voters have been specified in the lists in Naryn region of Kyrgyzstan. Such data was announced at a meeting of the regional headquarters for organization and holding of presidential elections in the Kyrgyz Republic with participation of the Deputy Prime Minister Temir Dzhumakadyrov. The Information Support Department of the government of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

«On election day, October 15, voters should not have any obstacles. Since the elections are conducted using new biometric technologies, the technical conditions and equipment must work reliably. Each polling station should be provided with electricity and uninterrupted connection to the Internet,» Deputy Prime Minister Temir Dzhumakadyrov said.

It is noted that from now on ballot boxes for automatic ballot counting will be installed at the polling stations. To work with the equipment, members of the precinct election commissions and all operators underwent the necessary training.
