Russia returns another batch of products from Kyrgyzstan

The batch of dried fruit from Kyrgyzstan wasn’t allowed to enter Russia, Russian media reported.

According to them, almost 20 tons of products without labeling with high phytosanitary risk were detained on the Russian-Kazakhstan section of the border.

Absence of marking is a violation of the legislation in the field of plant quarantine provision, since it gives the buyer the necessary information on quarantine products: the name and location of the manufacturer, the date of its manufacture, the expiry date and storage conditions. The cargo was returned to Kyrgyzstan.
