MP Aida Isatbek kyzy proposed to open a school to train public transport drivers at a meeting of the Parliament.
The number of road accidents involving buses in Bishkek is growing every day, she said.
«We all know how much money these buses were bought for. And because of irresponsible drivers, who do not think about people’s safety, our buses break down. The budget is damaged. I don’t know under what conditions the City Hall recruits drivers, but it seems as if they were promised a prize for breaking the most buses,» the MP said.
