Chairman of the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan Zamirbek Bazarbekov held a brief meeting. The main issue was the discussion of the quality of consideration of cases by investigating judges of local courts in Bishkek.
It was noted that investigative judges should be especially careful when accepting materials, consideration and making decisions.
«Judges are the bearers of judicial power. It is necessary to ensure the independence of the judiciary,» Zamirbek Bazarbekov said.
He demanded strict compliance with the requirements and norms of the law and paid special attention to the prevention of corruption and eradication of procedural violations by judges.
«Judges should be held accountable for every violation committed. No one should go unpunished,» the Chairman of the Supreme Court Zamirbek Bazarbekov said.
