President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and the head of the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) Kuniharu Ebina discussed issues of expanding ties in the field of tourism. The press service of the head of state reported.
Sadyr Japarov noted that Kyrgyzstan is interested in establishing close cooperation in this area on mutually beneficial and long-term partnership terms. He told about the types of tourism that are available in the republic.
The President noted that the country’s leadership strives to make every tourist feel comfortable and confident.
Reforms aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development of tourism are being actively implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic. Sadyr Japarov invited Japanese tour operators to visit Kyrgyzstan and familiarize themselves with interesting investment proposals.
Head of JATA Kuniharu Ebina said that the company was considering cooperation in the field of tourism with the Kyrgyz Republic and was ready to work closely with Kyrgyz colleagues in this direction, given the rich tourism potential of the republic.
He briefly described the activities of the company and suggested that the Kyrgyz side should conduct joint practical activities aimed at branding tourism products of Kyrgyzstan in the Japanese tourism market, exchange contacts, as well as attract tourists to promote the country’s tourism potential.
In conclusion, the parties agreed to promote an increase in direct contacts between tour operators.
