President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov will visit Japan on November 17-20, where he will hold talks with the country’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. A statement released by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Japan says.
«We hope that the president’s visit will contribute to strengthening friendly relations between Japan and Kyrgyzstan,» the statement says.
Japan has recently been paying great attention to development of relations with the countries of Central Asia — Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
The Central Asia Investment Forum was held in the Japanese capital with the participation of representatives of the authorities and business of the countries of the region at the beginning of December 2022.
It also reported that official Tokyo is initiating a summit in Central Asia — Japan format in 2024.
