Construction of a five-star hotel and park began on the shores of Issyk-Kul lake. The head of the Department of Presidential Affairs Kanybek Tumanbaev announced on social media.
He noted that conditions for tourists have not been created in Kyrgyzstan for many years. The useful life of the buildings constructed during Soviet times has expired.
«Construction has been growing in the country in the last two years. Recreation areas, cottages, and five-star hotels are being built and renovated. Construction of a five-star hotel with all conditions has begun in Issyk-Kul, and there will be a park nearby,» Kanybek Tumanbaev posted.
Kanybek Tumanbaev and his Azerbaijani colleague Ramin Namik ogly Guluzade signed an investment agreement for the construction of the five-star hotel on the shores of Issyk-Kul lake.
The Cabinet of Ministers transferred 17.24 hectares of land in Kara-Oi village to Azerbaijan for the construction of a five-star hotel on the shores of Issyk-Kul lake. Azerbaijan has the right to extend the agreement after 49 years.
