As part of the visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the summit of CIS leaders, some roads will be closed for traffic. The Deputy Chief of the Main Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Police Lieutenant Colonel Manas Sydygaliev said at a press conference.
He noted that traffic movement will be restricted from Manas airport to the state residence along the route Fuchik Street — Chui Avenue — Manas Avenue.
In addition, Vladimir Putin plans to visit Kant airbase as part of his visit. Because of this, traffic movement along the route Manas Avenue — Chui Avenue — Abdrakhmanov Street — Zhibek Zholu Avenue — Alma-Atinskaya Street — bypass road — turn to Kant (Tsemzavod) — Kant air base will also be restricted.
The President of Russia also plans to visit Ata-Beyit complex. Therefore, traffic along Sadyrbaev Street from the state residence to the memorial complex will be limited.
«We ask citizens to take these measures with understanding. Do not leave cars on the roadside, because they will be forcibly towed away. Plan your routes in advance to avoid traffic jams and be late for work. Additional information will be provided later. More than 600 employees of the Main Traffic Safety Department will ensure traffic safety,» Manas Sydygaliev said.
Vladimir Putin’s visit and the summit of the CIS heads are scheduled for October 12-13.
