CIS summit: Over 4,000 employees of Interior Ministry to ensure security

More than 4,000 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan will be involved in ensuring security during the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan and the summit of the CIS heads. The head of the Public Security Service Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Maksatbek Klychev, announced at a press conference.

According to him, it is planned to carry out preventive measures throughout Bishkek and Chui region. Police units will be deployed along the entire route of movement of the distinguished guests.

«During the event, the personnel of the internal affairs bodies of the Bishkek garrison and the Central Internal Affairs Department of Chui region will be put on higher alert on duty. Additionally, reinforced investigative and operational teams will be on duty. It is planned to enhance the security of particularly important strategic objects,» Maksatbek Klychev said.

Vladimir Putin’s visit and the summit of the CIS heads are scheduled for October 12-13.
