The Parliament did not take note of the report of Ombudsperson of Kyrgyzstan Atyr Abdrakhmatova. The decision was made at a meeting.
The deputies interrupted the report of the Ombudsperson, not allowing Atyr Abdrakhmatova to speak to the end, and proceeded to voting without questions.
The Speaker put to a vote the decision of the profile committee, which proposed to take note of the report of Atyr Abdrakhmatova. He was supported by 14 deputies, 41 were against.
Deputy Adakhan Madumarov noted that the committee’s decision was formed incorrectly.
«Not taking note does not mean that it is not approved. In history, in practice, this has never happened and never will. The Parliament must make one decision. If they didn’t approve, then explain the reason,» the deputy said.
After disputes, members of Yntymak faction asked for a break. After it, Speaker Nurlanbek Shakiyev read out the decision of Ata Zhurt Kyrgyzstan faction on the early termination of the powers of Atyr Abdrakhmatova.
The Speaker noted that the relevant committee should consider the faction’s proposal within seven days and submit it to the Parliament.
