Meerim Tilekova, a former adviser to ex-Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, was acquitted. Her lawyer Kaisyn Abakirov wrote on Facebook.
According to him, the decision was made by the Dzheti-Oguz District Court.
«The court also fully acquitted and rehabilitated the former head physician of the Family Medicine Center for Issyk-Kul region Beishekan Zhailymysheva,» the lawyer said.
Meerim Tilekova was detained on May 17, 2022 «to organize further investigative actions as part of the pre-investigation check under the article «Extortion» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.» She was placed under house arrest three days later, but then was taken into custody again.
At a press conference, three deputies of Alymkadyr Beishenaliev accused the head of the Ministry of Health, among other things, of pursuing an unreasonable personnel policy. In particular, Meerim Tilekova was appointed to the post of secretary of the Deputy Minister of Health Uluk-Bek Bekturganov. In April, the girl wrote a letter of resignation, and the next day she was appointed adviser to the minister.
