Registration of candidates for deputies of 14 rural councils in Naryn, Batken, Osh, Talas and Chui regions has been completed. The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan (CEC) reported.
The total number of seats in 14 rural councils is 254 and 97 mandates of them are reserved for women in constituencies.
A total of 493 candidates were nominated to 14 rural councils, 174 of them were women candidates. At least 470 candidates were registered, 164 of them are women.
Elections of deputies of rural councils will be held on April 9.
