The head of the department of Bishkekglavarchitectura state institution was detained for taking a bribe. Press center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) reported.
The state committee revealed a corruption scheme organized by individual officials of the department and the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Communal Services.
«Employees of the departments regularly received large bribes for a positive decision on the provision of municipal land plots in Bishkek. The chief architect of one of the districts of Bishkek was detained. He was placed in the detention center of the SCNS. Other officials involved in the corruption scheme are being identified,» the SCNS said.
