MFA asks Kyrgyzstanis living in Ukraine to adhere to ethics in assessing events

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reacted to the publication about the Kyrgyz Abduraim Ryskulov, who lives in Ukraine.

The ministry believes that the man «gives a not entirely appropriate example about the population of the southern regions of Kyrgyzstan.»

«Bilateral relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan are developing in the spirit of friendship, good neighborliness, strategic partnership and are based on the unshakable principles of mutual respect, state sovereignty, independence and equality. This feature between our countries is primarily due to a common history, cultural and spiritual values, centuries-old traditions. Therefore, the relationship between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan has a solid foundation and, most importantly, a mutual desire to establish strong partnership. It should be noted that the Kyrgyz Republic is a multinational state where representatives of different nationalities live in friendship and harmony. In this vein, we consider the arguments of the citizen of Ukraine Abduraim Ryskulov to be incorrect and we would ask you to adhere to standards of ethics when assessing bilateral relations between the neighboring countries,» the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said in a statement.
