At least 392 cases on crimes against minors have been opened in Kyrgyzstan for three months of 2022. The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office informed 24.kg news agency.
Some 409 cases on crimes against children were opened in 2021 for the same period.
Of the 392 cases, 95 have already been sent to court.
«The number of cases on crimes against children sent to court has increased,» the supervisory authority said.
Most of the crimes against children were committed in Bishkek — 203, in the city of Osh — 56, in Jalal-Abad — 40, Chui region — 36, Issyk-Kul region — 23, Osh region — 17, Naryn region — 4, Talas region — 7, Batken region — 6.
