Drug laboratory found in house of resident of Issyk-Kul region

Employees of the State Service on Drug Control found a drug laboratory in the house of a resident of Issyk-Kul region. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.

«A storage room, equipped as a drug laboratory for the production of drugs of the cannabis group, was found during a search in the house of citizen T.A. a. A 100-liter plastic barrel with a green substance with a specific smell of hemp was found and seized. The weight of the seized drugs with the packaging amounted to 26 kilograms,» the statement says.

Briquettes of hashish in the form of matchboxes weighing 26 grams were also found in the kitchen in a plastic container.

The total weight of the seized drugs amounted to 26 kilograms 26 grams. The detainee was placed in the temporary detention center of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek. The investigation is ongoing.
