The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek has completed the trial of the murder of a crime boss Almazbek Sulaimanov, nicknamed Limonti.
Earlier, in his last word, Talgat Shamiev asked the affected party for forgiveness.
Leaving the deliberation room, judge Mirlan Termechikov read out the decision, according to which the accused was sentenced to 10 years in prison. The court took into account in the verdict that Talgat Shamiev has been in the remand prison for two years, and also granted an amnesty.
The defendant’s sentence was reduced by one-fourth. In total, according to preliminary data, Talgat Shamiev will spend six years in a general regime penal colony.
In addition, the court ruled to recover 100,000 soms from the accused in favor of the affected party Alina Yunusova.
Limonti was killed on March 28, 2020 in Naryn. Defendant Talgat Shamiev brought his body to the Internal Affairs Department and confessed to his deed. It is known that the murder was committed out of revenge. Almazbek Sulaimanov brutally killed the father of the accused, a member of the organized crime group Imangazy Shamiev, in 1998.
