The Kyrgyz Petroleum Company (KPC) is considering filing a lawsuit against journalist Bolot Temirov and his team. The head of the company, Baigazy Matisakov, told the media about this during a press tour.
According to him, the Temirov Live investigation contains incorrect information. The company itself has facts proving this.
«We have all the facts, documents. Every delivery is confirmed. This can be checked,» he concluded.
Police officers accompanied by special forces soldiers came to Temirov Live office in Bishkek on January 22. They detained Bolot Temirov and took him to the capital’s Department of Internal Affairs.
Journalists associate the visit of the police officers with the professional activities of Temirov Live and the latest investigation into the fuel business of the family of the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev.
