President signs law on budget of Kyrgyzstan for 2022

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed the law on the republican budget for 2022 and forecast for 2023-2024. Press service of the President reported.

The document was adopted by the Parliament on December 22, 2021.

The total revenues of the republican budget, taking into account state investment grants, are envisaged in the amount of 282.1 billion soms this year.

In nominal terms, revenues of the republican budget, compared to the approved budget for 2021, increase by 63.2 percent, or by 109.2 billion soms. In 2023-2024, the republican budget revenues will amount to 295.8 billion and 312.2 billion soms, respectively.

The total amount of expenditures of the republican budget for 2022 is set at 291.2 billion soms. This is 109.9 billion more than the approved budget of last year. In 2023-2024, the republican budget expenditures will reach 303.5 billion and 303.8 billion soms, respectively.

Taking into account the revenues and expenditures, the republican budget deficit for the current year will reach 9.1 billion soms, or 0.8 percent of GDP.

«For 2023, the republican budget deficit is projected at 7.7 billion soms, or 1 percent of GDP. But already in 2024, a surplus of the republican budget of 8.3 billion soms is predicted. At the same time, it should be noted that the resource part of the consolidated budget for 2022, which includes the entire public administration sector of the country, is projected at 403.9 billion soms,» the statement says.
