19 foreigners expelled from Kyrgyzstan after serving sentences

At least 19 foreigners have been expelled from Kyrgyzstan after serving their sentences for committing crimes in 2021. According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 13 people of them are citizens of Tajikistan, 2 — Uzbekistan and 4 — Kazakhstan.

In January last year, a 34-year-old citizen of Kazakhstan was detained for committing a drug-related crime in Chui region. By the decision of the Alamedin District Court, he was sentenced to one year and five months in prison with subsequent expulsion from the Kyrgyz Republic.

In April 2021, citizens of Tajikistan were detained when carrying out illegal labor activities. It was established that they illegally crossed the state border of the Kyrgyz Republic. By the decision of the Alamedinsky District Court of Chui region, they were convicted with subsequent expulsion from the country.

In May last year, a 37-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan was detained in Jalal-Abad region for using forged documents and illegal crossing of the state border of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The detainee was wanted in his homeland for committing a grave crime. By the decision of the Nooken District Court of Jalal-Abad Region, he was sentenced to two years and six months in prison with subsequent expulsion from the republic.
