A 36-year-old foreigner was detained on suspicion of fraud in Moskovsky district of Chui region of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of the region reported.
«On December 22, 2021, the daughter of the victim turned to the police, saying that an unknown person had deceived her 92-year-old mother. Taking advantage of her helpless state, the offender took 17,000 soms from her under the pretext of buying kitchen utensils. The police managed to find and detain the suspect,» the statement says.
The investigators do not exclude the detainee’s involvement in similar crimes.
