Timur Faiziev has been appointed a General Director of the State Directorate for construction of eco-friendly city of Asman in Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan. The Presidential Executive Office reported.
The corresponding order was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.
«The State Directorate for the construction of the eco-friendly city is a body that ensures the coordinated work of state bodies and local self-government bodies, interaction with civil society, the private sector, international organizations on organizing, designing and construction of the eco-friendly city of Asman with a developed infrastructure at the level of modern technological achievements,» the Presidential Executive Office noted.
Timur Faiziev is suspected of complicity in corruption in obtaining land plots in the capital, as well as in illegal construction. He was put on the wanted list. The Pervomaisky District Court in absentia chose for him a measure of restraint in the form of detention in the detention center 1 in Bishkek. The businessman himself left the country, but later returned. The measure of restraint was changed to recognizance not to leave the city.
Earlier, a former adviser to the president, now a deputy of the Parliament Ravshan Sabirov said that a French construction company would build Asman, but its name is unknown.
