Employees of the criminal service of the Internal Affairs Department of Jalal-Abad region and the Suzak District Department of Internal Affairs solved the murder of nine-year-old Sumaya Khosilzhanova, the suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan informed 24.kg news agency.
«A 48-year-old resident of Suzak district was detained. He lived alone in one of the villages in the district. He is divorced for about 10 years. According to the investigation, on November 18, the suspect lay in wait for Sumaya and tricked her into his house. After that, the man kept the kidnapped girl in the basement of his house for several days. He abused the child, tied her up with duct tape, kept her in the cold. The girl died a few days later. After that, in order to hide the traces of the crime, the suspect carried her body out at night and threw it on the river bank. He burned her clothes and school supplies,» the ministry reported.
