The highest pension in Kyrgyzstan is 179,000 soms. The Chairman of the Social Fund, Baktiyar Aliev, told at a briefing.
According to him, one person receives such a pension, but the head of the Social Fund did not name them, referring to legislation prohibiting it.
«After an increase in October, the average pension in Kyrgyzstan reached 6,340 soms. The pensions were on average increased by 455 soms,» he noted.
The minimum pension in the country is 1,500 soms. About 40,000 people receive such a pension in the republic.
