Kyrgyzstani prosecuted for illegal visits to Russia

A 31-year-old migrant from Kyrgyzstan is being prosecuted in Tyumen Oblast of Russia, who three times illegally crossed the Russian border. REGNUM reports.

In July 2014, the citizen of Kyrgyzstan was banned from entering Russia until July 2019 for violation of the immigration laws by a decision of the Moscow Department of the Federal Migration Service.

To return to Russia, the Kyrgyz citizen changed his passport data in Kyrgyzstan.

He illegally crossed the state border of Russia three times. In March 2019, he was caught and, by court decision, taken into custody.

The Kyrgyz citizen is accused of three crimes under the article «Crossing the state border of the Russian Federation by a foreign citizen who is banned from entry into the Russian Federation» of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. It provides for a fine of up to 300,000 rubles or imprisonment for up to four years.
