The Prosecutor General’s Office filed a lawsuit against the Government to the Interdistrict Court of Bishkek. The head of Nashe Pravo (Our Right) Public Foundation Kalicha Umuralieva confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
According to her, the Prosecutor General’s Office decided to cancel the decree banning registration of house land plots in March, but the government is not in a hurry to execute it. «Therefore, the main supervisory body of the country appealed to the court. Our foundation is a third party,» noted Kalicha Umuralieva.
Residents of Bishkek have already organized a rally demanding to cancel this government decree.
Residents of apartment buildings cannot receive documents for land plots adjoining to their houses due to the fact that the government ignores the decree of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In the case of legal proceedings, the court may decide that this land does not belong to the tenants, and withdraw it legally.
