Officers of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan detained a man for illegal possession and manufacture of drugs in Karakol city. Press center of the state committee reported.
Earlier, the prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case under the article — illegal manufacture, purchase, storage, transportation, transfer with the purpose of sale, as well as illegal production or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogs or precursors of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
«An authorized search was conducted in the house of the suspect, during which law enforcers found a cache with 45 hashish bricks. The total weight of the drug was 495 grams. In addition, an unregistered shotgun was seized from the man. The detainee was placed in the pretrial detention center of the Karakol Police Department,» the State Committee for National Security reported.
