Russia may review duty-free supply of petroleum products to Kyrgyzstan

Russia may review the duty-free supply of petroleum products to Kyrgyzstan. The State Committee of Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use reported.

At the beginning of July, the remainder of duty-free gasoline was 176,000 tons, diesel fuel — 64,500 tons. Based on the current indicative balance, gasoline will be enough until October, and diesel fuel — until August.

The remainder of gasoline at petroleum depots of the Association of Oil Traders of Kyrgyzstan amounts to 43,000 tons, diesel fuel — 41,000 tons. At the same time, the supplies of crude oil since the beginning of the year have not been carried out.

The State Committee of Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use holds negotiations with the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation on introducing changes and adjustments to the indicative balance for 2018 in the following volumes: oil — 150,000 tons, gasoline — 470,000 tons, diesel fuel — 515,000 tons, fuel for jet engines — 135,000 tons. The Russian side is considering the proposal.

Kyrgyzstan intends to achieve duty-free supplies of the fuel and lubricants from Kazakhstan: crude oil — 200,000 tons, gasoline — 400,000-500,000 tones, diesel fuel — 200,000 tons.

Earlier, the Association of Oil Traders reported that the gasoline, allocated for the duty-free import, would be enough for only 10 months, diesel fuel — for 8 months. The reason is the unsettled issue with oil supplies to Kyrgyz refineries.
