The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev instructed the heads of the regions not to wait for orders from above to protect the rights of women and children. He stated this at a meeting of the National Council on Gender Policy under the government.
The head of the Cabinet dwelled on the case of beating a child in Balykchy.
«Two-year-old child is severely beaten. It is impossible to look at this. We should never think that this is someone else’s child or someone else’s wife. Heads of the regions, do not wait for the order, you must immediately take measures to protect the rights of women and children,» the Prime Minister said.
