Bolot Suyumbaev, Isabek Sultanaliev dismissed after 10 days in office

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev signed two orders — to dismiss the head of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes Bolot Suyumbaev and his deputy Isabek Sultanaliev.

Thus, Bolot Suyumbaev, newly appointed on April 16, 2018, has taken the post of the head of the financial police for only 10 days.

The appointment of a close associate of ex-president Almazbek Atambayev, who was dismissed from the national security bodies by the decision of the head of state, caused criticism in the society. Many regarded this as a demarche of the then Prime Minister Sapar Isakov.
