Sooronbai Jeenbekov received the Chairman of the State Border Service Ularbek Sharsheev. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.
They discussed the situation and issues of regulation of emerging problems at the state border.
The head of state was informed about the ongoing work on protection of the state border, as well as the current situation on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek and Kyrgyz-Tajik borders in connection with recent incidents in these areas.
Sooronbai Jeenbekov set the task to conduct explanatory work among the local population on the observance of the state border regime to prevent various conflicts, together with the border agencies of neighboring states to seek compliance with the border regime and the line of conduct of the servicemen.
The meeting was held with the participation of the Secretary of the Security Council Damir Sagynbaev and the Adviser to the President Zhenish Razakov.
