The State Property Management Fund released Aibek Kaliyev from office of the Chairman of the Board — member of the Board of the National Energy Holding Company.
Deputy Chairman Erali Kozubayev was appointed an Acting Head of the company.
The day before, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov studied the results of the work of the interdepartmental commission on establishing the reasons for the January breakdown at the Bishkek Heating and Power Plant and decided to dismiss Aibek Kaliyev.
«I got acquainted with the conclusion of the commission and came to the decision that the situation at the Bishkek HPP is an immense negligence that led to such consequences when the whole city was left without heating in the winter. This can not be forgiven,» the head of government said.
