Largest industrial growth among EEU countries registered in Kyrgyzstan

Among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, the largest growth in industrial production in ten months of 2017 was recorded in Kyrgyzstan — 13.7 percent. This was reported by the member of the Board (minister) of the Eurasian Economic Commission on the main areas of integration and macroeconomics Tatyana Valovaya.

According to her, thanks to the integration effects, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan already show GDP growth of about 5 percent. This is significantly higher than in other EEU countries. On some indicators, the two countries are far ahead.

For example, in ten months of 2017, the volume of construction in Armenia increased by 29 percent compared to the same period last year.

«The economic successes of the countries of the union show that we are doing the right thing, deepening integration,» Tatyana Valovaya concluded.
