Government to support carriers suffering losses due to border problems

The government of Kyrgyzstan decided to support the carriers, as they suffer losses due to problems at the border. The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov said this at a government meeting today.

According to him, unjustified regulation on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border leads to a slowdown in the growth rate of the Kyrgyz economy. «Despite the positive results for the first nine months, efforts must be made to maintain these growth rates,» Sapar Isakov said.

He added that the government pays special attention to attracting investments. «Regions should strengthen work in this sphere. We must provide services to investors in the regions. It is necessary to assist the government’s representatives at the republican level,» Sapar Isakov said.

He instructed officials to control the prices for socially important goods, in particular, gas and coal.
