Border Service of Kyrgyzstan: No problem, cars slowly but moving

«There are no problems on our part, Kyrgyzstan passes transport on the border with Kazakhstan. The cars slowly but are moving,» Spokesperson for the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic Salkyn Abdykarieva told 24.kg news agency.

«There are no restrictions on our part. The traffic jam formed because of the fact that the Kazakh side slowly passes transport on its territory, in particular at Ak-Zhol checkpoint. Corridor, according to the rules, should not be filled. Therefore, as soon as it is free, we immediately let the cars pass. And such a situation occurred only at Ak-Zhol,» she said.

«There are no negotiations with the Kazakh side. Officially, we are not told anything, we are trying to contact them, but they respond that have switched to the strengthened border control,» Salkyn Abdykarieva added.

The leadership of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic refuses to comment, referring to the meetings in the Parliament.
