Kyrgyz migrants take oath when obtaining Russian citizenship

«32 migrants, with the natives of Kyrgyzstan among them, for the first time took an oath when obtaining Russian citizenship in Bagrationovsk (Russia),» Russian media reported.

The program on resettlement of compatriots has been working in the region since 2007. Over 10 years, more than 30,000 people arrived there from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Germany.

Since September of this year, the solemn taking of an oath was added to obtaining citizenship procedure.
