Almazbek Atambayev: Our future belongs to educated Kyrgyzstanis

The head of Kyrgyzstan, Almazbek Atambayev, took part in the opening ceremony of the school named after K. Temirov in Chekildek village, Naryn oblast, the Information Policy Department of the President’s Office reported.

Almazbek Atambayev emphasized that education is the basis for the development and prosperity of the entire country.

«Our future belongs to educated Kyrgyzstanis. That is why the education sector is funded in priority order. More than 24 percent of budget expenditures go to the development of education, while in other countries this figure is no more than three to four percent. We must put education at the first place, because we don’t have oil and gas, our future are our children,» Almazbek Atambayev said.

Note, the school named after K. Temirov in the village Chekildek of Kochkor district of Naryn oblast is designed for 150 pupils. The total cost of the project is more than 51 million soms.

The President also said about the implementation of major projects in Kyrgyzstan.

Thanks to the support and trust of the people, we managed to achieve significant changes in the life of the country. Now the population doesn’t live in fear of being without electricity and gas. Young politicians with irreproachable reputation and a clear conscience come to the government of the country. I am sure that soon they will be able to achieve real reforms.
