Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan intend to expand list of products

Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan intend to expand the list of products supplied. This was announced today at a press conference by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Komil Rashidov.

“Thanks to the political will of the presidents, the parties find compromise solutions. Constant political dialogue yields results. For the first time in the history of Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations, the meeting of the interdepartmental commission took place at the level of prime ministers. Earlier, they were headed by the first vice-premiers,” Komil Rashidov explained.

According to him, the parties agreed to increase trade turnover. Uzbekistan is ready to supply cars, agricultural machinery, fertilizers, household appliances, textiles, construction materials to the Kyrgyz Republic. Kyrgyzstan also offered coal, meat, dairy, fruit and vegetable products, and knitted fabric.

Recall, a meeting of the intergovernmental commission for bilateral cooperation, delimitation and demarcation of borders took place in Bishkek on August 16. Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov held a number of meetings with the leadership of Kyrgyzstan.
