Citizens can vote in elections using all three types of passports

Citizens of Kyrgyzstan can vote in presidential elections using all three types of passports. This was announced today at a press conference by the head of the Central Election Commission Nurzhan Shaildabekova.

According to her, citizens of Kyrgyzstan who have registered their biometric data and were included in the lists of voters, have the right to participate in the elections.

«The issuance of biometric passports has already begun. Therefore, you can vote with them, as well as with ID card and internal passport," Nurzhan Shaildabekova said.

Recall, presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan are scheduled for October 15, 2017.
