Head of Customs Service of Russia to visit laboratories in Kyrgyzstan

The head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Vladimir Bulavin will visit the laboratories in Kyrgyzstan. He said this at a meeting with the Prime Minister of the republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov.

The parties discussed implementation by the Kyrgyz side of the work on equipping checkpoints on the external borders of EEU and the modernization of veterinary and phytosanitary laboratories in the country. The head of the Cabinet noted that the visit of the head of the Federal Customs Service once again underlines the strategic nature of relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. He thanked the Russian Federation for the support provided to adapt the national economy to the conditions and requirements of the union.

Sooronbay Jeenbekov recalled that the government of the country is actively working to comply with the deadlines for completing the work on bringing the checkpoints into line and equipping laboratories in the regions of the country. He added that all relevant state bodies of the country strictly control the implementation of all previously reached bilateral agreements.

The head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Vladimir Bulavin noted that the dynamics of implementation of the agreements reached earlier between the countries is positive. He stressed that the implementation process for the whole complex of bilateral cooperation has been launched, and therefore proper control over its implementation is necessary.

Vladimir Bulavin said that he would get acquainted with the work of the laboratories of the Bishkek Testing, Certification and Metrology Center under the Ministry of Economy, the Central Plant Quarantine Laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation as well as the Department for Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision Department of the Ministry of Health.
