Another free kidney transplant performed in Bishkek

Development of transplantation is becoming a priority for the healthcare system in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the Ministry of Health’s press service, thanks to government support and the professionalism of domestic specialists, high-tech surgeries are now successfully performed within the country, saving lives without the need to travel abroad.

On March 26, another kidney transplant was performed on a 29-year-old patient at the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare in Bishkek. The surgery was performed free of charge.
