The Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Sydykov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Kyrgyz Republic Sandor Dorogi on April 15. The meeting was held as part of deepening bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary. The press service of the Ministry of Economy reported.
During the talks, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of economic cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the importance of the decision of the Hungarian government to additionally finance the authorized capital of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
Minister Bakyt Sydykov emphasized that this step is an important element in strengthening economic ties and opens up new opportunities for launching joint projects.
The parties also noted the important role of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission as a key instrument for developing bilateral partnership. The issue of expanding cooperation in the agricultural sector was raised during the discussion, including active cooperation between agricultural universities of the two countries.
The Hungarian side expressed their readiness for further exchange of experience in the field of scientific research, water management and implementation of innovative solutions.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in expanding partnership, creating joint ventures and implementing promising projects in various sectors of the economy.
