Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov called on the international community to stop hostilities in Gaza. He said this at the opening of a photo exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
He congratulated veterans and diplomatic service workers on their anniversary, noting that outstanding professionals, patriots, statesmen and scientists of the country stood at the origins of Kyrgyz diplomacy in different years.
Edil Baisalov also made a statement on the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip.
He noted that for six months now the world has been observing the methodical destruction of the population of Gaza. At least 13,000 children were killed. 165 UN staff and 95 journalists died.
«Most of them were killed purposefully. All this is documented! In 2024, we are watching genocide live. We are watching live as 2 million Palestinians suffer from hunger and the world can do nothing,» the deputy head of the Cabinet emphasized.
Kyrgyzstan condemns terrorism. In October, we condemned the attack on Israeli civilians. We recognize the right of the people of Israel to defend themselves, but the Jewish government has no right to place itself above international law and the United Nations.

He added that Kyrgyzstan calls on the international community and the United States of America to stop this madness and genocide.
