The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) refutes the statement of the head of the construction company KG Group Imamidin Tashov that he was allegedly kidnapped by security services and had to pay 100 million soms. The press center of the SCNS reported.
«The investigators found out that Imamidin Tashov, while being in the pre-trial detention center, on the phone with the wanted Tilekmat Kudaibergen uulu (formerly Tilekmat Kurenov), as well as with other destructively minded persons planned to violently seize power through holding mass rallies, using social and domestic issues, including mandatory use of cash registers,» the statement says.
To achieve his goals, Imamidin Tashov constantly financed Tilekmat Kudaibergen uulu and a number of other persons to fulfill his criminal plan.

The SCNS has initiated criminal proceedings against Imamidin Tashov, Tilekmat Kudaibergen uulu and other persons. As of today, they are on the wanted list. In addition, law enforcement agencies are investigating criminal cases on 16 facts of fraud against Imamidin Tashov, as part of one of which he was detained on October 26 last year and taken to the institution № 21 of the State Penitentiary Service.
«KG Group has built six apartment buildings on the territory of Bishkek. But none of these objects has been put into operation due to unauthorized construction without permits. After the compensation of damage, when ten apartments and one commercial premise worth 52.4 million soms were transferred to municipal ownership, Imamidin Tashov’s preventive measure was changed to house arrest by the decision of the Pervomaisky District Court dated December 8, 2023. But after his release, he continued his activities to stage rallies and violent seizure of power,» the SCNS said.
A video message from Imamidin Tashov was published on social media on Tuesday, where he said that he was «kidnapped in a gangster-style,» kept in captivity and demanded, in addition to the 52 million soms already transferred to state revenue, another 100 million «into another pocket.»
«You see and hear for yourself how many of our colleagues, construction workers, were detained and released after paying the money. They gave three times more than the sums that are announced on the Internet (official information from the SCNS. — Note of 24.kg news agency). How can we talk about investments if you put pressure on entrepreneurs? Moreover, you put them in jail, take away their money, as well as threaten their health and life,» Imamidin Tashov also said.
