Kyrgyzstan and Germany signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of science, research and innovation. Press service of the Ministry of Education reported.
On December 18, the Minister of Education and Science Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva met with the State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany Judith Pirscher.
The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany Omurbek Tekebaev also took part in the meeting.
Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva noted the importance of developing interaction in the field of scientific research and innovation, supporting and growing cooperation in the field of digital education and information technology, strengthening academic ties between educational institutions and scientific organizations of both countries, supporting the study of the German language in Kyrgyzstan, as well as the exchange of experience and transfer of advanced pedagogical methods and technologies between educational institutions of both countries.
Judith Pirscher expressed the German side’s readiness to expand partnerships between scientific institutions and educational institutions of the two countries.
The meeting participants agreed to hold the Days of Kyrgyz-German Science in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2024.
The parties signed a joint statement of intent on cooperation in the field of science, research and innovation.
