«I promise that in 2024 pensions and allowances will be increased at least above the inflation rate,» Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov said at a press conference.
According to him, pensions will definitely be indexed. Discussions are currently underway in the Cabinet of Ministers regarding allowances. The Cabinet of Ministers wants to see to which categories it needs to allocate most of the funds.
«There is a pleasant dividing of the pie — budget revenues — in the Cabinet. The amount of resources has increased. We must target them to the population categories that most need support. Perhaps, this will be the construction of surdological centers, a rehabilitation center, and the opening of new schools,» Edil Baisalov said.
