A number of pressing issues related to prices and supplies of fuel and lubricants to the republic have been resolved. The Antimonopoly Regulation Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.
In particular, the indicative balance has been increased. Thanks to this, fuels and lubricants will be supplied to the country without duties. This will help keep prices for fuel and lubricants from rising (about 1.5-2 soms per liter). In addition, as a result of the negotiations, the issue of uninterrupted supplies through the railways of neighboring countries was resolved.
«The situation on the fuel and lubricants market is stable, there is no shortage in the market,» the state service noted.
In turn, the head of the Association of Oil Traders, Kanat Eshatov, told 24.kg news agency that as a result of negotiations, the indicative balance was approved at the level of last year. Initially, supplies of 460,000 tons of gasoline and 485,000 tons of diesel fuel were agreed upon. But this quantity is not enough for Kyrgyzstan.
«The issue has been resolved. The indicative balance has been increased. Now it is 645,000 tons of gasoline and 550,000 tons of diesel. Supplies are now stable. There are no serious difficulties when transporting fuel by rail,» Kanat Eshatov concluded.
