Registration of pilgrims for the hajj will begin on November 9 and will last until November 20. The First Deputy Mufti of the Kyrgyz Republic, Samidin kary Atabaev, announced at a press conference.
According to him, those interested must make an initial payment of $2,000 and pay non-refundable 1,000 soms to RSK Bank, and then provide receipts to regional, district and city kazyats and khatibiyats.
«Since last year, 111 people have remained in the electronic queue, who have already transferred $1,000; they need to pay the remaining amount. About 6,500 quotas will also be allocated to Kyrgyzstan for the upcoming hajj,» Samidin kary Atabaev said.
The head of the Hajj-Umrah Department, Zholdoshbek azhy Abdyldaev, added that applicants need to provide original receipts, ID passports, and international passports to be placed in the queue.
According to him, only citizens over 18 years old can perform the hajj.
