Military personnel from Belarus arrived in Kyrgyzstan for joint exercises with peacekeeping forces of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Indestructible Brotherhood 2023. The General Staff of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to it, the military contingent arrived at Kant military airfield, then marched on military equipment of the Kyrgyz side to the site of the exercises in Balykchy, where a ceremony of their solemn welcoming by the leadership of the exercises took place on the parade ground of the military unit No. 20636.
From October 9 to October 13, on the basis of Edelweiss training center of military unit No. 20636 of the Ministry of Defense, joint exercises with the peacekeeping forces of the CSTO member states Indestructible Brotherhood 2023 will be held with the participation of military contingents of the peacekeeping forces of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. Operational groups of the Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat will also take part in these joint exercises.
Military personnel from Russia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan arrived earlier.
